History

West Co’Z was set up at the end of 2009. It started out as a Halal western food outlet with a potential for franchising opportunities. Things did not work out the way we planned, as there were already established western concept restaurants in the mall.

Chef  Sulaiman a well trained western chef, and together with a love for great food with Mel and his father , Mr Albert Ng,  fought this stormy, uncertain period without looking back. Mr Albert, armed with years of experience in the food industry as well as a great planner  realized that we cannot fight head to head with established companies.

We were told not to give up and not to  surrender. While planning to come up with a new strategy, Paul Tan came on board and a new partnership was born there and then. We then switched from a Halal western food concept to a Halal Thai Chinese food eatery.

Sweet success came after, coupled with a never give up attitude.
