Established in 2009, Segar started at an outlet in Bedok heartlands serving delicious Thai-Chinese style cuisine. Filling in the gap in the halal demand for Chinese style cooking. Expanding into outlets in the CBD and the East!

Brought my mom to have dinner at Downtown East and decided to give Segar a try. Was really pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Ordered Assam Fish Tail, Prawn Paste Chicken, Three Egg Spinach, Hotplate Beancurd and Hot Crispy Noodle for the kid. Overall standard was really good. Especially the Assam Fish Tail and the Prawn Paste Chicken. The prawn paste chicken is so far the better one I’ve eaten.

Didn’t take picture because was too hungry. Ordered curry fish head, sooo good. Will visit again and take picture. Prefer to eat fish head curry here with aircon.
